The Great Iron War Books 4 6 eBook Dean F Wilson

The second half of The Great Iron War steampunk dystopian fantasy series, collected together in a digital box set for the first time. Join Jacob, Whistler, General Rommond, and Taberah as they take to the rails, to the sky, and to the homeworld of the Regime in their desperate attempt to save humanity.
4. LANDQUAKER
The Resistance has barely nursed its wounds from the recapture of Blackout, and it is now looking to another, tougher target the massive steam-powered railway gun known as the Landquaker. They call the vast railroad the Iron Wall, and that mounted barrel is its only sentry. It does not need another.
Blackout was a sitting duck, but the Landquaker is a moving target, and not only one that shoots back, but one that shoots first. The Resistance turns to old allies and new friends, from the land-loving tribes to the land-roving biker gangs. It will need every soldier it can muster.
The Landquaker was designed with a singular purpose a monstrous gun to hold back a multitude of monsters. Except this time the multitude mans that weapon, and in its hands the land is not the only thing that will quake.
5. WORLDWAKER
Every victory is its own defeat. General Rommond's efforts to amass technological superiority over the enemy has resulted in the creation of a weapon that could destroy everything, and a faction just mad enough to use it.
The Armageddon Brigade has awoken from its deep slumber, and it seeks to wake the world with it. Attracting the brightest, and most unstable, of minds, this splinter group of the Resistance has become the greatest thorn in Rommond's side.
The Resistance and the Regime must unite to defeat a foe that answers to neither of them. Yet their deep divisions and long-held suspicions threaten to end the Great Iron War once and for all—by ending everything.
6. HOMETAKER
The Resistance races against time to complete the missile-launcher known as the Hometaker, capable of opening a gateway to the land the Regime came from, and exposing the Iron Emperor for all the evils he has done.
Everything rests on the secrecy of the mission, but from day one tongues are wagging. The atmosphere is like dynamite. An overheard word could light the fuse. With no time left on the clock, General Rommond is forced to make an audacious plan finish the construction of the Hometaker on the move, driving straight towards the enemy, who have assembled in unimaginable force.
The Great Iron War is coming to an end. It's all or nothing—their world or ours.

The Great Iron War Books 4 6 eBook Dean F Wilson Reviews
Absolutely some of the best steampunk literature I have read. I want to see this on the big screen for sure!
My first time reading in this genre. If you like this genre, you will certainly enjoy it. Otherwise, it's a fair read.
Really great character development and a constant up and down of reaching a climax and then anti-climax. Then on to the next battle, problem to correct, or 'what do we do now?' situation. Loved this series and I will be considering the offshoots soon.
This was a bookbub recommendation. The story moved at a good pace though some parts of the plot relied on too much coincidence, improbability and convenience but since this series was more sci-fi than steampunk, anything goes. Finally, don't get too attached to any one character because more than likely that character will get bumped off, and in one instance trying to save civilians against the wishes of another main character.
I bought books 1-6 and read them straight through. I'm sad that the adventure is over. I'm looking into the Coilhunter series next, hopefully it's just as good.
The only thing I don't like about this book is that it's over. Not just the book but the series. It was the perfect ending for the series. Epic battles, charismatic characters, fast paced and fulfilling. I just hope that a couple of the characters continue to whisper in Mr. Wilson's ear until he is moved to continue their story.
Dean F. Wilson's series, The Great Iron War, is so amazing that it keeps you wanting more of this strikingly different world. There is a lot of action going on in these three books, so much so that you absolutely cannot put these stories down. You are continually drawn in at a fast pace, and you almost can't take a breath. I had never read anything like these books before I discovered Dean F. Wilson. If you want to become immersed in an awe-inspiring world, I suggest you give these books a serious try. You will be amazed and you won't be disappointed.
